My old square nose brain lasted from 93 till last year.
I mounted the brain to the stock e box but took all connections inside the box. Never had salt water blues.

There are a few new produsct on the way from quite a few companies. TNT pipe is relatively new. 155 Torrent was released there. Talk on quite a few "game changers" from Xscream. 1200 140mm spread DASA was new. Thrust is working on new items. PHP is working on new items. TPE is working on new items. I honestly believe if your not you are out. The trouble with new items is they take time, testing and then entry to market barriers. Some are done tested and then the pricing kills them before they are ever released. Ask Polaris Marine how that works, oh wait they are out of business for that reason.

The 140 spread idea for the engine is a game changer the issue of the badly undersized transfers ports will be over. This is now when they start making big power

We will have the v2 pro series available from tuner dealers
The TNT programable ignition with ECWI built into the ignition
We also have efi that we are working on.
And the v3 complete pipe will be available in the spring.

A tip for everyone is to let NO of the original wires from the MSD brain out in the hull, were they are exposed to salt water and salt "vapor"
I made a commen positive 12v+ on the starter relay, that my red and violet connects to (hard wired) Same for ground, i got 2 grounds.
But once a wired is exposed to salt water it goes extremely fast with degrading it. Ask me how i know (I'm a electrician, and the past 5 years i worked offshore)

Nice man. Same box I use. Nema4 x never leaked. It's redundant to build a dry box and leave the high voltage coils out of it. I set mine up lil diff inside. Pics are posted here couple years back.

Ice. That's the box you want for msd tl The coils shorted and shocked You last time. My msd brain is 6 yrs old 3 in this box. But this is the ign u will want for less hassle and better programmable curves for new pipes and port timing . Fits oem box 10 x better quality connectors. Super accurate. No need for multi spark and ultra high amp discharge to increase likely hood of complete ignition and perfect timing. Less than 10 amps instead of the msd 30 amp. Lith batt will run 3 x more tanks fuel with it than msd tl. Fw is lighter than msd. Cost from what I'm told is significantly less than msd. Win win. But what do I know
