I do all my own work on everything I own. Doesnt matter if I've never touched anything like it before I'll get it fixed somehow (rebuilt trannys, snowmobiles, atv's, jeep). I like to have the right tools for the job, just makes thing much easier. What tools are the "must haves" to keep in your garage when workin on a PWC, doing a complete rebuild. So far I've got a harmonic balance puller for the flywheel, leakdown tester and compression tester. What ELSE? Im sure over the years you guy have found a number of nitch tools that work perfect to certain jobs workin on a PWC.

Thanks!

The skis i'd be workin on are a 92' SJ, 2k4 SXR, and WR500's

8-14mm sockets with many extensions and swivels.
8-14mm ratchet wrenches (the open end kind), definite must to get into some tight spaces where sockets won't fit.
Impact driver.
3 different sized flatheads and phillips.
There is this stuff I keep with me all the time in the tool box I carry to the lake with me, it's like epoxy, but in the form of clay, you work it together like play dough and then do what you need with it, it dries water tight as hard as cement, and can be applied to a dry surface and get wet before it's cured.
Basic electrical stuff, lots of 12g wire, inline connectors, male and female connectors, electrical tape.

Plumbers epoxy. You knead it together and it smells awful.....but works well.

And electricians rarely use electrical tape and hvac people dont use duct tape. Go figure? They should start making carpenters tape:smile:
