If you want to experience Chinese quality at it's best, go buy some tools at Harbor Freight and try to use them on a regular basis. Some will work, others are dead before the first use.

Our company bought some raw materials from China once---total junk, had bags and wood and all kinds of stuff in it and it messed up our furnace big time. We ended up having to mix it in at like 5% just to get rid of it over the course of 6-7 years. We just finished it up last year from what I remember.

He makes only a chamber....not a pipe....and I would buy one too if he would talk some #'s.....

otherwise I have to go with all of the greats that have actually used it and said it was bling. And I personally could not buy it for that....maybe some
bling pepes will.

A lot of people fell for the TNT fad of a few years ago based on one engine builder's claims though in the end there were no real numbers to back up those claims and quite a few people felt no increase in power after spending $700+ for a 12+ year old chamber from the mod racing days.

Most people don't fall twice for the same deal so it's going to be an uphill battle to prove it works better in my book.

It is a good thing that most of the market is not on this site. I see the reasons why lots of good people stay clear of the net. Nothing like fighting between each other to keep the good folks away!!

You guys are bashing a new product that has not been built yet. TNT is developing a new product and using this site to gage interest. There will be no numbers until testing is done. He put out that you can bring your boat with a B pipe and try his pipe for free. He will even help tune it. What else can you ask from an builder? And you guys run him off on using saying he is charging too much? Idiots!!! No wonder our sport is dying!!!

Bingo, this site is a small portion of riders, so coming here to ask opinions is not a great way to judge interest. It can be a way to get some publicity, but you have to be very careful how you handle anything on the internet. Most companies shy away from forums as a rule, it's just not worth it unless you're very careful.

The big difference now is the pipe builder is coming on here telling us the deal. I have a feeling Tim will show RPM numbers & be able to tell you how the chamber will preform on your motor. It won't be made up " magic dyno numbers" that give huge bottom end.

I believe the pipe works really well, But I beleive there is a catch. You dont just take any setup and put the pipe on it and expect better performance. The pipe works depending on how you set your motor up. Just my 2 cents.

You know how the TNT worked on my motor...
I also tried a blaster mod that worked about the same...
put the blaster mod on Sherry's LPW 701 in her B1 and it freegin rips!!!

I just cannot get the TNT/blaster mod style chambers to do what I want them to do in my ski-I agree-I think it's all in the setup and I just have not hit the sweet setup yet. (not that I care to try anymore). lol Now I'm playing around with another set up. We shall see.

scorn... They were not skilled at this when I first got them, but thats where the balance of American labor comes in.I kept just enough of my American less problematic labor as foremen, this keeps the qual control the same even though the mexicans still work circles around them.
Again common sense has to be used,I wouldnt put my life in any china guy product, lol but harbor freight has great deals on alot of tools and we and tons of other users on this site buy them up everyday.I wouldnt buy a power tool from there, but a wrench or a socket I can break 25 times and replace for less than the cost of a Snap on or Mac is another story. We beat the crap out of them and no more break than a craftsman qual tool.
No one is saying its a bad pipe or even too expensive,Im just saying way more will sell at a lower price point. How bout this have one pipe personally made for buyer types 1 and 2 and a outsourced one for the other 99% of us.It would sell at 1/5th the cost on just pure bling factor alone even if it were no better than the fp at all

Maybe it's just me, but I would just buck up and pay for a quality product rather than buying garbage twenty-five times and contributing to a throw-away society.
Cheapest isn't always the best deal. You might figure that out someday.

Everybody wonders why our sport is dying! Rant!!

Just review the post's in this thread and evaluate the comments.. Do you ever wonder why some rider / racers stuff hauls ass, and has awesome power delivery? Amazingly enough, they never seem to DNF either... Thats because they have spent the time / $$/ effort to either fully understand the intricate workings of a two stroke (they can quote Blair & Jennings) or they have paid the savvy tuners in our industry to build their equipment correctly.

I'm not referring solely to the fact that you just pissed off a guy that has hundreds of professionally tuned engines to his credit, I'm reflecting directly to the un-qualified readers that are not willing to listen..

When I started in this industry (back in the 20's) there wasn't any friggen internet, and tuners didn't share secrets... You had to learn it all yourself! Ask TJ, Dan Lamey, Bill Chapin, Tynan, and the other established tuners, and you will find that this is an art that is self learned or passed from one tuner to his apprentice, etc.

I cant help but smile when I see or read about guys that have been chasing a carburetor jetting issue all summer, when a savvy tuner can dial it in within 10 minutes.. This is where experience, not keyboard arguements come into the equation.. Stop arguing, get out your jet-box, tachometer, piston wash light and start testing!!

Sorry for the long post, and I will not respond to this, but if you wanna drop the keyboard and call me I will be available for your questions..
