Since you already have the walls of the tray thin it would be easy to install the adjustable holds. I haven't installed any myself but it looks like you would probably just be able to drill the holes and bolt the brackets on. http://www.theskiclinicstore.com/Adjustable-BOB-Footholds_p_49.html
How well did that polyethylene plank glue down in the tray? Polyolefins have a tendency to not stick to anything for very long unless corona or flame treated. Any concern there once you start riding it hard?
Hi. Its PE. Nearly all Bumpers are mad off it. I worked so much with it on cars, and never got a Problem with PE and GFK. And iam going to lay gfk over it, so its just the bottom. doenst matter if it stick or not. But i hope it will

Its super strong, and super flat. And only 400 gramm more then gfk, but its 10mm. Only strengh i got. Next time i will use 6 or 8mm, should be enough.
