see my original post #105, UPS does a pretty damn good job IMO.

I kinda hate to pile on this guy (not really), but the more this thread stays at the top the more people will read it and will hopefully NOT get burned by NIKAD in the future. I really hate seeing people get jipped out of there hard earned money.

update!

just checked pay-pal, and wadda-ya know, i guess i did get his attention with filing a claim. :Banane19: I now have a tracking number!! so something is comming to my house atleast...

He shipped it yesterday, 3/13. It should be at my door 3/19


however, i'm not canceling the claim until i have it, and i know its not 81lbs of rocks.

I havent been online for a couple of days..but you know the real story now....
I talked with him today on the phone.

He did ship on Feb 28th from his old address and he screwed up on the address labels and they were both returned to his old address, and his old neighbor told him he had a couple boxes still at his house and he checked it out and it was fox b pipe and your engine/elec. They had been sitting there for a whole week!
Regardless you'll get your chit now... and you have tracking numbers, so you can relax.

Screwed up address labels? It isn't like it is his first time selling/shipping parts. I know you are his buddy an all but these guys have been waiting for far too long. i hope that engine was fogged too!

I am just waiting for Butch to chime in here and give some lame excuse. You can look up my ebay feedback, it is the same username on here. I bend over backwards when sellling. I have never had a package lost, damaged, or sent back. I have shipped to multiple countries in Europe and even to Austrilia a few times. The worst I ever slacked was three or four days to get a package sent out.

I am sorry to say but you are giving Butch the benefit of the doubt too much. I would never and I mean NEVER but from him! He has proven his track record time and time again. This isn't that hard of a task and I have done it plenty of times myself.

When i stick up for him on here, I'm basically saying he is not a rip off artist and you'll get your stuff. There may be some lame excuses and delays, but you'll get your parts. If he was a rip off artist, I wouldnt be sticking up for him.
I didnt have to come on here and say squat. I'm just trying to help.

Wow- things must really be bad for Nikad- he used to be a really top notch seller. and good prices too.

Not really any of my business and it may have been covered already in this post but he did just go thru a divorce and from the looks of it is still getting his life back together. sucks for everybody. from what I have read- I am pretty confident you will get your stuff. he is a standup guy.

Understandable I agree you kept saying people would get their stuff.

I know there were some peopel during the "messy break up" that didn't get their stuff. Well actually I don't know if they did or didn't. i think some got their money back. Still took time and they had to find the parts somewhere else.

It isn't any different with the MAJOR ski companies out there. I am in a fight right now with one of the big shot parts manufactures/custom ski builders over a throttle wheel. They charged me 36.80 for what I though was getting an UMI because that was the pic on their website. Then they send me an ADA. Second, I wasn't given a color choice, and they still charged me the 36.80! An ADA costs 14.99 on ADA's and most other's websites. That is over 20 bucks in difference.

They better credit my visa or not charge me that difference on my back ordered stuff or else I will call and bug them every day. The back order stuff was a pair of flame arrestor adapters and a pair of flame arrestor covers. WHat ski shop doesn't have those in stock? They are probably not going to get any more of my money after this! I feel like selling the flame arrestors I bought because it has their name on them. I am going to hate working on my ski and seeing their name every time I open the hood.
