Is she your Corona and Lime?

BK do you plan to incorporate any heel lifts in your turf job ? These skis cause real sore calf muscles often and I know one SF rider that pulled his calf muscle and couldn't ride several months. Here's one example of remedy. Screenshot_2016-11-08-12-35-29-1.jpg

That rider who pulled a calf muscle doesn't even do flips. The issue must be because these light hulls allow the nose to lift high often stretching the calf muscles. Both myself and the other member on here had issue without lifts. Any other SF guys figure this out ?

BK, I told you the exact same thing!

I find drinking is the only way to get turfing done. Who wants to do that job sober. Not me.
Agreed drinking is mandatory when turfing. It makes you more okay with how it turns out when the glue is stuck and there's no fixing it. You'll just shrug and say "eh, f*ck it... looks good enough". The alcohol, the glue fumes and the pressure not to screw up makes a memorable high everytime.

When I started turfing the superchicken, my wife had never seen a ski turfed before. I was getting ready to start laying glue and pulled out two beers popped them and handed her one (this was like 10:45am on a Sunday). I said "gotta drink a beer, we're turfing". She just shrugged and took a swig, "okay".

Ok, May get creative wth some sand paper then!!!!!!!!!!!
in the 4 years I been riding the freak, I never pulled a calf muscle or had heel lifts. I did shove my right heel clear thru the turf and thick under pad . I did pull a calf on a hurricane flip before I put lifts. freaks land hard from altitude and diving forward for rolls could stretch out a calf and rolls will chew your ankle on the rail if you don't have lifts
