All and all I’m extremely happy with my build. I got to learn a ton and now the ins and outs of my ski. Absolutely no regrets, and the thing rips!

Next build will be 1000 times easier. I can’t thank you guys enough for the help.


While I’m extremely happy with my ski. Knowing what I know now. Couple things I would have done different. Probrably would have ran a larger displacement power valve motor. I’m sure I’ll do that on the next build. And would also have ran a 148 or 150 mm pump.

Also if anyone has an fx1 hull for sale on the west coast. Please let me know. Thanks!

Always glad to help sir! l have made friends to several on the X by helping. Made a lifelong friend when l started my first ground up build back in 2009.l. needed a lot of help on that one. The X is more than just a forum, to me it builds relationships

I don’t think I’ll ever sell. Doubt I’d get anything close to what I have into it.
