Base is white and the color is Crimson Splash, a little darker than I was planning but it's a nice color.

After this dried, it really turned to a maroon color. Way off from where I started...probably too much pearl. I might scuff and reshoot...not sure.

Sanded today.....going to repaint. Same design, but the right color this time.

FINALLY..the right color. I color sanded the clear today, polishing tomorrow. Thanks again 59VWRAGTOP! But I'm tired of sanding...
Still needs decals and turf. The pole is the 'Sunfil Cinammon" color from DuPont Hot Hues.
Should I go with a silver seperation line with black turf?
Or Black line with black turf

Motor is finished. Went with some v-force carbon reeds and cages!!
Need to thank Randy at Watcon for all his help. Picked up a low hrs crank from him, it's perfect and worth the $$.

turf on gunwhales and dash.
install primer fittings in carbs
primer on dash
Superjet toolkit/fire exingusher on dash
hood latch
tie up electrical system
Getting CLOSE! Pics coming.

just a Raider nozzle with bungs welded to the pump. Bicycle cable and lever. Pretty simple.

Here is some pics of the trim... Raider 1100 nozzle. Looking for a ProTec nozzle if anybody has a line on one let me know.
Got everything finished and tried to fire....no spark. :aargh4:
Connected ski to car battery (car not running) no spark still.... double checked wiring, ground, etc... still no spark. Ebox has now been shipped to Randy for his review. Probably the CDI.

very nice. i have been riding a couple of times now with mine. the bottle and scupper valve trick is awesome. i am very satisfied with it. i did try your ride plate out and it is good with riding it but when i go to use the trim its to hard to pull the nozzle up, and by the time i pull it up, im not at plaining speed and cant get up to speed because the back end of the ski is sunk in to much. let me know if this is doing it to you also using that ride plate. i like your paint job. it turned out good. have you rode it yet?

might be a crazy question, but you did you check your stop switch. octanes will spin over even when the switch's circuit isn't complete. you can borrow my stuff. my ski is getting some go fast stuff done

I did check the switch... the box has power...nothing coming out of the CDI.
What are you doing to yours? Ever get those Mikuni's figured out?
