OEM lightened flywheel review

Can more material be safely removed if the charging magnets have been taken out? This is referring to running a TL setup with an Advent Ignition.

Wondering just how light you can get an OEM flywheel.

Fly, that seems to be the consensus. Key change being a noticeable difference in throttle response.

Now is it the same "noticeable difference" as going from a 650 to 760 or 701 to Lamey BB stroker? Probably not, but one costs thousands and one cost ~$55. And you can notice a difference in the lightened flywheel, but I am not sure how much.

Consensus is, it is the best bang for the buck.

Yeah I have no doubt that it would be a worth while mod, I was just wondering what kind of difference you would see between the lightened 61x and lightened 62t flywheel.

Would it be worth it to try and find a 61x flywheel and stator and have that lightened or just have the 62t lightened? I'm guessing you're probably better off saving the money and having the 62t lightened and put the money towards buying an aluminum flywheel or TL later on.

I have both 61x and 62t and the 61x is slightly better but so close it is hard to tell. either one you will be happy with. I might have one of the two for sale in a week or so.
