Custom/Hybrid Okie XFS 771 Build

Hey everyone! Figured i would post up this build I'm working on. The ski belongs to one of my local riding buddies(Alan). The ski is a 2012 XFS.

This is a exhaust extension that i was told is a must have part when running a trim setup. I made it out of 2" PVC.

Added some foam to the hood, not sure if it would float without it?

X-Scream waterbox....Seems very well made and looks a lot better then the old beat up stock waterbox.

Not much in the engine bay yet.

Well, actually there mine and i didn't want to get the shiny new black engine bay dirty lol.

First blood!! The hooker cut me! The 11/17 hooker is razor sharp. I have been around a lot of hookers...I mean impellers and have never seen one so sharp.

Nothing to exciting today...

Finished up duct shoe install

Finished putting the pump together and installed it on the ski. Still have to do more hull to pump shimming.

Installed homemade nose foam.

Will do. Planning on using loctite on those bolts

I used loctite on some bolts that was expose to water on normal rides. A few months later, I took some bolts off and discovered the loctite has turns into white-ish powder.

Sweet build bro... I had a RN771 and the 10/16 was to aggressive... Not sue if a light weight hull will change that
where did you hear about the exhaust extension and why? My buddys XFR doesn't have one

I was told by a local rider that has a XFR, when you have trim and turn sharp to the left it can blow water back up the ex. tube and cause the motor to bog.

The motor was ported by blue and built jetmaniac (chris), chris told me that prop will be good for freestyle.
