If it is true (not saying it is) that someone would bash someone elses product because they are sponsored by product "B" that is pretty nasty.

yeah, it would be.

however, if they did it because they know product "A" is ridiculous to install and feel like chit, itd be perfectly acceptable.... especially if they werent sponsored riders.

I want to know who all has had their WDK hood for more than a year and has really trashed them.

Oh, this will fire some people up, but I feel that unless you are landing flat water rolls prefectly, I think a lightweight hull is a waste of money. How long is it going to last before it starts cracking...... Anybody ever wonder why Bogie was always selling his wammer hulls after a season....... And he is about as perfect as you can get on his rolls.

my WD hood stayed together 10 times longer than my Watercraft Factory Hood. WF did warantee my hood though...

Pat get s new hull every year cause he can afford it, not cause wammer hulls can't take it... Look at his hulls that are still in rotaion

I love my REV holds. they are awesome. They are slightly more complicated to install but they also feel way better and keep you locked in way better. They do need padding in the top. The only thing I would change on them is adding more hight to the top so you could add more padding.

No offense sflsurfrider but we know you are friends with Steve and your views obviously reflect that.

The more complicated/customized your order is the more likely you are to run into problems/time delays. I would be hesitant to get a hull from him but footholds are good to go.

from phone conversation "I get rid of the hulls while they are still good to somebody before they get totally trashed".
Also, he did not start using the wammer hulls until about 2004. I only know of 2 that are still being ridden.

1. Mine
2. The one that Caker bought and broke in half (It is in norway or sweden now).
3. Slymo's old hull (Gold one) is no longer in use.
4. Casey (you know him, from Alabama) has one that is the mirror image paint job of mine is stripped.
5. One of Pats hulls from 2002 is MIA, not sure where it ended up.
yeah, his old ski's are out there. Granted, mine is on its 4th owner!!!! Pat, Derrick, Chick and then Me. It has its stress marks on it!!! But I will say this about Wammer and Pat, they know how to build, reinforce a superjet!!!!!!!! That joker was dry as a bone when I opened up the foamed areas!!!!!!!!!

Realize that on this site some people are in bed with certain builders, and or are sponsored riders.

Waterdawg's service has been great to some and less than great to others. Jeff has treated me professionally each time I have spoke with him. He returns my calls and is A+ IMO. Can only speak for myself/ my own experiences.

There are also 2 sides to every story. We generally only hear the customers side of things, and you usually hear about complaints more than success.

There are several people in the world who arn't pleased no matter what they get.

Ordering a set of REV's,. I would definately do. WDK keeps them instock all the time, and for the price you can't really beat it.

For the small price of the footholds try WDK for yourself so you can respond to threads with your experience.

if you order them LMK cuz i want a pair and we will get 2 at same time

Yo GTAJetPilots - ha alright boys I'm interested in the REV's, the install and the odd negative review has me concerned but I like the design and do think they'd be pretty comfortable, price isn't really the issue as I plan on having thi sski along time I just want to best - we should order together when we do!

Goldenboy thought u had holds?

Talk soon Mike

no offense taken. my being friends with steve has absolutely nothing to do with the ridiculous install of the REV holds or their non-ergonomic design. there are people here that dont even know steve that agree. who are they friends with that make these holds suck?

dont be a hater

not hatin'.

the guy asked opinions on the REV holds.

i didnt realize that when people have a negative review, that theyre considered to be a hater.

based on that logic, unless you like everything about everything in life and every product that has ever been produced, youre a hater too.

you've become a billboard for WCF in the last few months:

the rev footholds are a joke from the ridiculousness of installation to final feel. i wont even get into actually dealing with WDK. im sure youve read enough about that to form your own opinion.

check out the WCF holds. theyre similar to cyclones, but cover the top of the foot for a little more bite..... and theyre extremely comfortable and big enough to have enough padding for my size 13's.

I'm just sayin'
