im a highschool sophomore too and am about 2 weeks into my 550 750 conversion. Anyway where in the world are you getting skis for that cheap? that's incredible! I paid $100 for a toasted 550 and I thought that was a good deal...

Bump for an update! Rode her on the water, oh boy, with some practice I can feel a back flip coming!! (With a decent setup wave. Not sure if it can be done flat water with this hull, but it rides awesome) had one one issue, there's a leak by the bulkhead, had to pull everything to get to it. But its all back and good to go. The ski ran great. And fired up instantly every time! Tons of bottom end!!!
Oh how I remember my old superjet! Lol. So for this 1990 an superjet, I have some plans. Custom paint job by my uncle, keeping the engine completely stock!!! I want total reliability from this one!! Running a Solas mag pump, Solas stainless steel wear ring, Solas big hub impeller, rriva scoop grate.. And aluminum pole. The idea is to squeeze as much power and the best hookup out of the stock engine e so I don't have to tune or fiddle with the engine and I keep the reliability of the stock superjet engine. But water hookup, bottom end, and speed with be greatly increased!! And there will be little cavitations. Impeller is set back 4mm. This ski is going to be awesome.. Here's a pic.

Here's the carbon fiber reinforcement. Would've been on the water this weekend and put back together but my starter decided to die, and I won't have the $500 for parts in my PayPal for 4 days, do it won't be till next weekend that I ride. Parts I'm ordering are... ADA billet head 24cc domes, 13/18 -5mm set back Solas impeller, brand new starter, maybe some new NGKs if I want this thing to really fly! Lol
