because is fun and most of those guys has a flat water ski :fing02:
I have plenty of extra room (whole upstairs of the house) & parking if you guys want to make the drive to Savannah, then head out early to Jax or St Augustine the next day.

Why would anybody want to drive that far to ride flatwater? :nono:
:fing02:

I'm thinking about ditching my dry suit and getting a real deal cold water wet suit this year . I'm told that the newer suits are non restrictive . I think some of the wind surf and surf suits are where it is at . Dry suits a a pain to get on and off and you have to layer up bla bla bla . It takes 30 min to get every thing on only to have to use the bathroom 30 min later.

get a kokatat gfer dry suit, they have built in goretex socks and a relief zipper,I wear mine with sweat pants and light polartec shirt.it goes on and off 10x faster than a wetsuit and you dont sweat in it at all, when you take it off and your dry and comfortable at the ramp while everyone else is freezing changin back into clothes, best thing I ever bought for jetsking

No , but they are still wacked ...... I may have cracked something . Either way all the docs can do is say " Hey you cracked your ribs " . I'm healing , but it is like two steps forward one step back .

Yeah I cracked my ribs waterskiing a few years back. It only hurts to breath...and move. If you can feel that they're cracked, no point in getting it x-rayed since there isn't anything they can do for you anyway except add insult to injury with a big medical bill.

Got some new brap in the mail today. Looking forward to trying it out...soon but not too soon. This cold is for the birdies.
I'm gonna run it with an ATP Epic ignition/Bpipe/blue printed pump w-11/17 Hooker and WW cone on a 85mm straight bore nozzle. I think I need a mag, my wallet tells me that wants and needs are two different things. We'll see how it goes. The FL 'freak crew tell me that all Superfreaks pretty much could use a mag. I'd like to change out that single 46 (on a ProTec with carbon reeds) to minty pair of 44's (on a Boyesen w/ VForce2's, but again it's needs vs. wants. Dasa recommended dual 46's on their mani with a TL. I'm in love with the Epic from my last engine and don't want to go back to TL. If I think there's a ton more to be had out of this motor with a TL after I run the Epic...I may get back in those waters, but not charging a battery is sweet music. Sorry for the phone pics...too lazy to get the camera.

pretty! What else does it say on the head?

Rickter by Dasa

Think I ought to attack it with the dremel and make it look real pretty? I told Dasa they need to retool and make me a Superfreak by Dasa head. Since I'm on their radar for a sponsorship it should be here by the weekend. ;)

Wow motor looks sweet ! How many cc ? is it a SS ? and when are we doing a surf ride ?
Good info Berk.

It's a SS 850. Had < 30hrs on it from birth. I want to come for some more surf when it's not freezing. Mcdog/Waternut/Sportfish and I had a talk during Daytona about coming back when it was actually fun to be in the water.

I thought friends/subjects of shane were for delivering castoff hulls of shane around the land...

BTW nice motor Gregg, who build it? Did I miss that somewhere?

Kyle @ Dasa did the build. It was built for somene else, who I bought it from. I'm really looking forward to comparing it to my Dasa flat top 760. I had it dialed in real well. Almost crazy to change it, but the deal was too good to pass up. Maybe mid to late March for a test ride report.

We should all be ready to ride in mid to late March. I'm worried about Shane though... If all goes as normal (by our standards), he should be done soon. However, if he goes as normal (to Shane standards), we'll probably see him on the water around June... haha
