Pfp superjet problem

They might send a new chamber but he gunna have ship his to them first

Not necessarily true...I kept mine until a new one arrived. This is the exact same problem I had with my pipe. There is a lot of variance in these pipes which can make one fit in a hull but the next chamber in the same setup not.

That's fine. Easy enough for the them issue an RA# and provide a paid shipping label from him to send his pipe back.

All I'm saying is the buyer shouldn't have to take $.01 out of his own pocket to have this resolved.

Exactly...a 1500 dollar pipe should have a little better tolerances.

pfp refuses to replace my chamber. Now I send in their new photo with stock engine to show that it is the same story.
It would be really expensive for me to send back the chamber from Italy to US to make modify, with the risk that is still wrong after .....:(I'm very unhappy ...

That really sucks they are giving you the run-around.
If they are still trying to claim that the aftermarket cylinder is what's causing this that is B.S.
I hope you can get it sorted out. Being out of the country is going to make things difficult for both parties, but I would fight for a replacement chamber.
If I was in that position, I wouldn't want someone cutting mine apart and re-welding it. The pipe is fragile enough the way it is without being exposed to excess heat for the second time.

Makes you wonder if extra care is put in pro riders chamber. I thought for sure they would have a jig by now. When PFP actually built the pipes I'm almost certain they did.

Take a known good pipe over to the composites lab, cast a mold off half the pipe and there is your jig. Just set the chamber and weld-on flange inside the mold, couple of straps to hold it in place and tack that F'er into position.

Well you would think guys making hulls and poles could make an exhaust jig

The chamber stamping's aren't the issue. Welding a flange onto the chamber at the wrong angle is what's causing the fitment issues.

In a lot of a/m hulls that angle isn't a big deal but when you get a tight hull is when it makes a difference. In my hurricane the angle doesn't matter really because the hull is so wide but in for instance an EME the same chamber wouldn't fit. Dealt with this last summer. Matt is 100% correct it's the angle.

I sent to XS new photo with the stock 62t engine, the same problem of course. Now I want to hear what excuses invent .....

Could the waterbox tray you have hold the pipe from rotating enough to fit? Have you tried install with waterbox but without the tray?
