I currently have a Black UMI pole to stick on my 07 SJ but I'm not sure if I like how it looks on there and I was thinking about going shorter anyway.

Now I'm torn between RRP and the X-Metal adjustable. Does anybody have pics of an RRP pole or X-metal on an all black ski?
Thanks

I love ever bit of my Xmetal setup. American company with great product and they back it too.
and way cheaper... I ride for them, but have personal bought for friends as gift.

X-Metal all the way! Pat stands behind his product as well... Any time I've seen someone have a problem with his parts, he's always taken care of it...

IMO I think it's the best looking one as well...

You can get his non adjustable shortened pole for a better price too... How often do you think you'd adjust the length anyway...

Probably just the once. I like the setup on my 96 SJ with lowered handpole mount, -1 pole and -2.5" turnplate with straight bars.

We tend to like what we try and if you go with adjustable you can try new setups easier and cheaper.

Well, my original $6K build just broke the $10K mark today so I think I will be sticking with the UMI Pole, for now anyway...

Probably a good thing anyway. I don't think I could have decided one way or the other and been completely happy with my decision. Both are great looking and functioning setups.
