My point was, Ide rather sacrifice a tad of performance by running the prefilters/outerwears than risk ingesting water in my ski.
The only problem I have with the outerwears on my 61X is that the elastic keeps stretching out and gets loose. Im not sure if its from the violent shakeing with the dry pipe or not. I never had problems on my 64U or 62T.

Im not saying the OEM isnt better.

I ran them for a few years on my SJ with no problems. My SXR did not like them one bit.

Whenever I have tried them, they really killed my performance. I could notice it instantly.

if I put one on my Xcream motor with the 49 full spec..it'll BARELY start..and will NOT rev out at all...
