I couldn't find a discussion thread based on the Krash Predator. I figured I should start one. So here goes...
If there is an existing discussion thread on the Predator, then I apologize and mods can delete this one.

I placed an order on a fiberglass Predator about three weeks ago. It's my first aftermarket hull since I got into this sport in 2011 and I'm pretty excited about it. While the hull is being built, I want to ask some questions so I can get the right parts for it. I'll be running a Yama drivetrain with bpipe, waterbox, and Cold Fusion tank.

The first couple questions I got right now:

1. Does the Predator need a driveshaft spacer or extender?
2. Will a H20 waterbox fits in the hull?

Cheers,
Tyler

i dont think you need a drive shaft spacer but you may need to CF bulkhead/mid shaft spacer plate to get the proper flex, unless the bulkhead is recessed.
if the h20 box is the same as x metal i would assume it fits a lot better then a stocker

edit: looks like the bulkhead is recessed for the midshaft.

1. No
2. Yes but I havnt personally used it. Looks just like a xscream and that box fits great! Leaves room so your breather tubes can come down and can sit on each side of the box for optimum breathing

Thanks for the answers @tightithrash

I also just remember the intake grate part. I have never ran an a/m grate, just stock ones. Which grate do anyone recommends for the predator?

I've been using the worx racing 242 intake grate.

http://worxracing.com.au/?q=products/yamaha-intake-grate-wr242

It's designed to fit a wide pump intake and the scoop fits the width of the intake area perfect.

You can use any superjet intake grate but the scoops ( if the grate has them) won't be wide enough. Not sure if that's good or bad but, I prefer to have my pump loaded up as much as I can. I use my throttle to break the ski loose to slide the ski.

Good to know, we already stock this grate for rickters. Didnt know it would fit a predator. Have you tried the similiar RRP grate to compare?

Is the Predator intake tunnel the same width as the Foot Rocket's?

I'm sure it's an option, but like Zack said it won't extend to the sides of the tunnel. I don't know the actual width of the Predator intake, but I know the RRP grate Jetmaniac mentioned is 2" wider than the Footrocket intake.
