I promise I will get a thousand pictures and send you and Jeremy a disk when we get back. Thanks guys, I appreciate it tremendously.
I am moving this week, starting a new job/career the week after, and can't leave my wife alone with the new baby and two other boys.
If he gets it running.
Even if he does get it running he still has a lot to do to the ski to be able to have fun with it. Come on Tim you and I both know a stock blaster is about as fun as a Honda.
a stock blaster is worth over 1,200.
I've bought ski's I've never planned on fixing up just to resell. I'd be happy with that find.
BTW. Nice to see you back Fly. How was the Honeymoon? :cheer2:
Oh and don't get me started on the prices of used ski's. It's the complete opposite. I see built up ski's rarely go for what they should and then I see bone stock pieces of go for a fair price and everyone thinks it's the deal of the century.
Take this blaster for an example(not calling it a POS by the way):

So the guy picks up a bone stock faded 94 blaster with a 61x that turns over for $700 and people think it's the deal of the century.
The sad thing is I see completely built up 96's for $2000 sit for months.
Let's break it down though:
If I were to try and turn that 94 into some of the built up 96's I would have to do the following:
rant off...
The way I see it is like this.
The market dictates prices and as long as there are people willing to pay, the prices will stay up. What may seam overpriced to you may be a bargain to someone who doesn't know any better.
Than you have times when 2 people are selling the same stuff. Guy #1 set his prices reasonable and sells out in a matter of minutes while guy #2 went for the moon and has to bump his thread over and over.
It's just a matter of knowing the value and waiting. My motor was built from used parts that I got here and I know that I didn't overpay at all.

How is that?
The sport grows by having more people ride. I don't see how buying all new parts all the time helps more people get into it.
Sorry, but that makes no sense at all.
It will help the aftermarket parts companies, but that doesn't do squat for pulling new customers in.
