Thanks!
On Friday evening i brought my crankcases to be epoxy and ported to Art at Engine Tech as he's only 25mins from where i work. I am astounded by the amount of information i got and hands on i received. I was able to pick up some cylinders, crankcases, domes, pistons and at the same time Art explained to me his reasons behind his design. A design of which took 3 months of dyno, 400hrs of CNC programming and 22-24 hours to make one cylinder kit.
This is a hobby for him and doesnt make a lot of money off of his motors, enough to pay the bills. To be honest the information i received, i felt as though i should be paying a lot more!
As a person with machinist/machining experience, i understood a lot of the information and we actually got into some CNC chat. Even saw a 967 being machined in a HAAS CNC.
We bashed some people on here to!
All i can say is im really happy to support Art at Engine Tech. I came out with more then i expected and my head was spinning with information, it was so overwhelming i forgot to ask him my return jetting and some other small stuff.
I will pick up my ET1107 a couple weeks from now!
