RE-confirming that refoaming is the worst job - UPDATE post 181

I'm just ordering supplies to get this fixed as quickly as possible. My new underpad is on the way, gonna get some new biax since I think I used up all of mine repairing my nose last year, and probably going to get the same foam since it held up very well and is easy to get locally on the way home from work, plus they use it for boat repairs, though I'm going to check price and see if US Composites is cheaper.

I need to get a tube of 3M too.

perhaps instalation was ok and the footholds are usaully strong enough
maybe a bad run in production that steve did offer to replace/

it sucks indeed
but steve has also proven he can build things strong enough to be abused

I think you mean a small tight community that is split into even smaller tighter groups,all of these groups do not see eye to eye all of the time and therein lies the problem.:scratchchin:

After looking at the install pics, they looks glassed in very well to me. It is hard to tell how they were glassed in in the pics posted in here so far. Hence me saying something doesn't look right instead of just calling it out.

His are thin, but I dont remember any of his falling apart. Do we need to install 2x4's up under them??? I always thought the foam up under the holds supported them......

Which group am I with? I have zero affiliation with anyone, I just want a good product that will hold up if installed properly.

If he offered warrenty the holds I would just wait for new ones. Just specify you want them thicker.
