Recommendation needed

I am just getting into standups as I am getting bored with sitting and riding. I am 6'2" and weigh about 190lbs. What would be a good ski for me to get? I do not want something underpowered, but I do not have thousands to spend. I have been looking all over craigslist to find something, and all I can find are sx 550s. These seem small.

By a river in lower michigan, but about 30 min from lake erie.

You can ride anything and have fun.
However, just like everyone else I strongly advise a Superjet. Much better in EVERY way.

If you havnt noticed yet.... This forum is very very pro Superjet.

Saying that I have a Kawi 750 and its great for me. I just strated riding stand ups about a year ago and it awesome.

Heres a simple break down..

Super jet = better for freestyle
750 sxi / 800 sxr = better for racing

However there are guys that race the SJ and guys that freestyle the kaw 750. Get whatever you can afford. Have fun. Nuff said.

Oh and im 6'4 and 185lbs and my 750 will haul the mail just fine.

sx's were single carb and the sxi was dual carbed.. I am 200ish and am 6'3".. Mine has plenty of power.. It doesn't matter what you get you always want more power.. My friends ride RN Superjets.. They are fun.. THe 08 and up superjet has a better feel for unbalanced people like me...

Another friend also has an SXR.. I love its crazy power and handling for sure.. Sorry I was at work earlier and had to get off here.. haha I like the 08 and up SJ's, but the SXR is always my fave though.. I am a Kawi person though.. Raced Kawi bikes and ride Kawi skis!

umm polaris octane? sxr's are a nice ski to rip around on a river. i personally like how a 440 rides compared to a rn superjet haha. <~~~~~~~~` true story!!!
