lee road a bun ski better then his own ski.... lee is a freak of nature. he did some pretty neat stuff on this hull, but i'm sure he was running out of time before worlds.

Here is a super high-tech drawing of what I believe it is for. It keeps water from entering the jet stream and disrupting the flow.

This is what I'm thinking anyways...
