Now take the exhaust trail out. The hoses may be able to be re-used with the routing of the new rear exhaust system. This is why buying a whole donor ski is better than grabbing a motor and all the tid bid pieces. Not to mention the fact you can verify the whole system together runs before you disassemble. The coupler biscuit (rubber piece between the couplers) , exhaust trail, electronics, throttle cable were all kept. I also took those rubber straps as I may be able to use them to hold down the new water box. The ZXI water box cannot be used with the blaster conversion. You need a GP760 or Raider water box with modified baffles and converted collars so the entire exhaust is near 3 inch diameter. (Correction 2.5 inch)

This is a good time to turn every stainless steel bolt and collect them for the project or future projects.

I'm not sure about using the drive shaft couplers but I pulled the pump and saved the mid shaft coupler.

I mentioned SURPRISES when you buy a used ski. Most of the time they are bad surprises. This one was better than my broken bolts. Removal of the pump discovered a solos prop! Potential craigslist / ebay item to recoup costs :)

Since there was no interest on Craigslist for the hull which included title and the remaining electronics (instrament panel) and steering etc...the fate of this ZXI was grimm...........

Best swap there is man!! You will love it.

The water box, don't go to 3 just go to 2.5. The chamber exit is 2.5 and then you go 2.5 into the Radior box. Rad Dudes have mods boxes done if you need them. Its the Scottie Mac water tested design that most of the trip swap guys run.

Not sure what kit you are using but research before you get one. The original Rad Dudes 1100 kawi kit had years of testing and input from people like Scottie and Joey to make it the most complete kit on the market. Centering the motor in the mounts and having the only side mount Ebox kit out there.
The ebox kit alone is worth its weight in gold. Helps off set the heavy chamber and balance your ski. Trust me these things all make a difference.

Perfect timing from Mark / Todd from Rad Dudes (btw thanks for the correction on the exhaust diameter):

I selected to use the Rad Dudes plate for a few reasons:

1- It shifted the motor further back which according to others was a big plus (but requires a shorter midshaft). Other solutions have now modified their product. I believe Extreem Throttle now has their plates adjust to two positions.

2- One piece design. The Rad Dudes plate replaces the stock kawi bed plate and uses stock motor mounts vs. thin motor mounts with adapter and stock plate.

Now keep in mind, there are trade offs. The Rad Dudes plate does increase cost in the fact you have to buy a GP760 mid shaft, or can get your Blaster midshaft shortened. So if cost is a factor you may chose differently.
