lol ill never get it back at this point. I literally send out a group text message like every three months to figure out where it is

So goal of the night. Get coupler off midshaft. Got an end of a driveshaft. Ground 2 sides flat. Stuck in vice. Free midshaft for about an hour. Got out, stuck on shaft section. Put a torch to it, got good and hot but not hot enough to mess with seals. Apply 4' cheater bart to the coupler and...... proceeded to damn near rip the vice and RIP countertop and cabinet off the wall. No go. So after scratching my head. I grabbed a pipe wrench and wedged that shaft section into it and sat on ground. Grabbed cheater bar and put some pressure on coupler and pop. Guess I got it loose with the first attempt right... yeah.

This is off topic but the plates u had holding the bottom pole end on ur freak did u have any issues. Is it a bad idea to go rrp bottom bracket with their reinforcement complete kit. Just looking for insight on my circus build

As others said, you probably won't be able to get a conventional style bracket in there. But you can have a conventional style bracket custom made for it. I had to go that route on the ski I built. If you end up wanting to go that route, shoot me a PM, my files will probably work on a freak. I think I still have the 3D printed proto for test fitting.

Sorry to hijack BK. Beautiful ski and nice work! I'll have to come by and introduce myself this Daytona.

Thanks Nate. My buddy knows Chris Anyzeski and he has run a few freaks and speaks highly of the system. So coming from a guy like Chris that puts his skis to the test. I’m sure I will be good. But thanks again for offering help.
