Soooooo many choices now!! Impossible to compare them all in a thread.

Daytona and Va. trips will really really help IMO....

I have tested almost every after Market hulls out there: Please keep in mind that I have tested these hulls on flat water.

Honest opinions out of 10.

1. OLD Lenzi:
As some1 said before its sucks at freeride but does good tricks. Hull always breaks and cracks easily. 4 out of 10

2. Bun:
Too Light, Freeride is ok if the rider weighs less than 150 pounds...Freestyle average...good tricks. needs a lot of adjustments to get the hull to work for you. 6 out of 10

3. XFT:
Unless its a freeride version (not the short FLY X) then its ok for freeride. With a good engine its good for learning tricks and can be learnt easily. However ppl who ride XFT can only perform tricks on an XFT... meaning if a rider learnt his tricks on an XFT he cannot perform them on another hull .... 7 of 10

4. WaterCraftFactory:
Great hull, amazing at freeride and freestyle...but it just doesnt look good as it has some features of a Kawi...just my opinion.
8 of 10

5. Wammer Hull:
average hull good for freeride more than freestyle...depending on what engine u have in it. not recomended for freestyle. good finish. 6 of 10

6. Rickter FS-1:
Truely a work of ART... worth every penny...the design and the way the ski rides is revolutionary...Freeride is fun in a Rickter... but in Freestyle a rider can learn new tricks and perform them with accuracy as this is how and what the hull is made for...ACCURACY. 9 of 10

7. EME hull: Not yet

8. Trinity hull: Not yet

please let me know if you want me to help you decide.....

whats the wammers weight? i think i mite go for one of these. i ride surf only not looking to freestyle. looks like best bang for the buck. going to run limited setup (possable 5 mm lamme) just looking for a ski that will not fall apart.

Stoyer and Bogart both ride hulls made by Tem (superfreak hulls).

Tem made them both new hulls for world finals (super x models)

All of Tem's hulls are 100% carbon, not carbon reinforced or visual carbon.

He is like the XFT of the USA.....all carbon only.

According to his site a surf boat and surf hood come to 74lbs! That has to be fun if it isn't to light for surf. Mine is 104 and I was told that was a good surf weight by slut and some others....and now I agree. But I would like to see what it would be like 24lbs lighter!

My 55lb superfreak was fun to ride, but it was a workout in the surf. The -2 BF hull wasn't at home in the surf unless it was backflippin!

IMO tem is building the lightest, strongest , best SJ based ski around!

AAAA++++ SUPERFREAK SKI's

then why would you want a lightweight hull? No benifit in the surf plus more chance of a hull failure.

lighter not to light. my rn weighted in at 362 ready to ride. i was looking at the wammer as a easyer way out from doing tons of glass work to get want i want out of a hull. you going to tell me a stock hull is as strong as a wammer hull? i have a wammer hood (race hood no less)on my rn now. it is made very well and its 10 years old. he makes good stuff.

Yea we somehow need a distinction for flatwater light and surf light.

Losing 100lbs on a SXR is in the surf (maybe not gigantic Cali 12-20's) is 110% excellent.
