Well, cats outta the bag I guess by now. Pulled the trigger on a carbon xfs an should have it in my possession in hopefully a month. It's already here in the states. Also just got my pfp today, do I need to install inserts for the pfp? Anything I should know about these hulls? Comes with a full billet rrp pole setup, pump shoe, an rideplate. Putting my 140 mag an Jetworks 5mil stroker in it. Thanx for any advice.

I think you will appreciate the fact that everything just bolts in. Only issue my buddy has had was grinding the pump shoe (But it was not OEM so not really an issue with the hull) and finding bolts for the motor mount rail. Bolts are not included. These the bolts that hold down the mounts to the rail.

Tried it, an just wasn't the ski for me. Why does everyone hate that I go thru so many skis? If I can afford it, why not? It's not like they're being paid via credit, they're cash deals. Whats wrong with trying different hulls out there?

Some People Can.

Since this time last year Tricky has had a ROK - Sold it, EME Q8 - Sold It, Superfreak Badass - Still has, Rickter XFS - Sold It, Rickter XFR - Sold it, XScream KDX - Believe it is sold and another on order. Some people do it because they can. Oh, I bet as soon as Tem has the kinks worked out Tricky will have the new Circus Freak.

Nobody has tried one of these? I want to keep the nose down more I am 6'7" and if I get a little out of position the nose shoots for the sky, tail stands in the surf are not a cool trick. Don't want to spend that kind of money if it is going to ruin what I like about the ride. I am going to shorten my pole first but I think doing both might be the trick.

I am probably going to order the medium length plate and see if it makes a difference for the surf. Although its plenty warm enough to be riding I am still probably 3-4 weeks out before mine is ready for its first rip of the year.

I added a few inserts for the PFP in my xfs I blocked mine and installed it then put the inserts in the exact spot that works best.

I am wondering if the medium will be enough. I know the wait on the long plate is forever because it has to come from the factory and since I have no patience I am thinking about the medium also. Just alot of cash to throw down without getting input from someone who has actually tried it, for some reason I feel like I need the long one.

I think I read somewhere SN plates work.. I could be just making it up IDK but maybe you can try one of those before ordering two seperate rrp plates?

Btw, you screwed me out of thousands of dollars. I been looking at Rickters since seeing yours at jones inlet.. Thanks lol

I just measured my SN and no go. Ride you RN like I did for 10 years and then think about a aftermarket hull when you have the money to spare. RN's are tons of fun and look at bruce he rides a tank and puts me to shame the hull doesn't make you a better rider just one with less cash in the wallet. lol
