RICKTER talk

ok thanks i am using bpipe why does it need spacing to reach the waterbox or because it hits on the ski somewhere ? what size are the spacers ?
also when running the single type stock air box on both carbs it fails on the lip of the ski at the back corner so we had to cut away a little bit of the corner of the airbox . anyone come up with a more sano solution . i wont use aftermarket filters .
Alex sorry i couldnt find you at daytona to borrow your ski . maybe next year lol . what engine/setup are you running ?

I was running a baby scream engine ordered an xscream 865 should be here soon just trying to decide what pump to run not sure if im gonna go to a mag or not

Nice work danger boy think you will be hearing from me or Loki soon about some other billet goodness we need!

I have a brand new x865 collecting dust on my bench I'm getting all my parts together breaking/selling all the stuff I don't need from the sj and a half I had to fund this i was going o run tbm with c75 as recommend by xscream but if I have enough moony left over I was thinking mag pump .
I'm also going to clear wrap it as soon as I get it after seeing how the pain comes off so easily

now that the rickters have been out for about two years, i'm curious as to what kind of damage is appearing on your skies. ive had mine for about a year and a half. she's been running a Thrust 828 with stock setback pump. it seems as all the damage i have experienced has been stricktly asthetic. structuraly she is is extremely sound. all the hype about, make sure you enforce them cause they are flimisy has turned out to be a myth in my experience. we are brutal with the handeling of this ski and all i lost is clear coat and some paint chips. with that said, i don't think i've had as much fun on any ski as i have on my rickter. one of the most enjoyable skies i have owned. any major issues??

just disassembled my Rickter....after an 8 month season the driveshaft shows ZERO wear..

the shaft is perfectly centered in the the tube with NO pump shims....the engine has very slight shimmage up front

+1 for the Rickters tooling

What throttle cables are you guys running? I have a mystery one I had laying around intalled. It is perfect length, but the internal cable itself is streched about a mm... and I cannot get it to go full WOT no matter where I have the threads set and the adapter fully out. Running the boyesen intake with throttle on the rear carb.

Im running a kawi 750 cable, not sure the year for it but I know that's important. All I had to do was get a throttle wheel and auger out the regular throttle bracket attachment so it would fit. It's thicker and longer than a sj cable.

I'd love to put a kawi cable in, and should have when the motor was out. Just worried about taking a dremel to a $600+ custom manifold while the motor is in the ski...lol

I have a brand new Kawi cable I just bought a week ago. If somebody needs it $25 + shipping. Was going to put it in my superfreak but it was too short. It's actually pretty close in length to a RN cable.
