Figure out how long you can go on a tank. Then allow time to get back to ramp.
Yeah, I just hate paying attention to time when I'm out in awesome swells. I have to admit it was nice to focusing on riding non stop and having the reserve was a great safety net.Figure out how long you can go on a tank. Then allow time to get back to ramp.
So set your ski up with a reserve.Yeah, I just hate paying attention to time when I'm out in awesome swells. I have to admit it was nice to focusing on riding non stop and having the reserve was a great safety net.
You'd pretty much just buy the parts from yamaha and install right? Obviously have to find a place to mount the switch would be the hardest part I would guess? So set your ski up with a reserve.
Congrats on ripping off the Robo-Tow. Invented in Wisconsin by an Ex Frogman. Where'd you get the idea?.....Easiest thing ever. Nylon strap in a flashlight holder. Run your life jacket strap thru it. It's right next to you on your lifejacket, you can have it out in seconds. View attachment 370410
Lmao. He is not selling these. It is a strap being stored in a flashlight case. Dont believe that guy invented towropes.Congrats on ripping off the Robo-Tow. Invented in Wisconsin by an Ex Frogman. Where'd you get the idea?.....
Buy cheap $20-30 solar casio and strap it on your bars. Time your tank once and then set your timer everytime you go out. 950cc with 48-50mm will last you around 1h normal jetting and 45min reverse jettingSo another thing crossed my mind about guys that head out a bit farther from the launch... how do you deal with not having a reserve switch on your ski? I haven't taken mine out yet and I can only imagine a 950 dasa is going to suck more gas than my stock 701 ever did. I'm sure it will just take time to get used to what my actual ride time is before I have to head back in to shore for gas. I just don't want to be like the guy who had such a small tank and after 15 min was running back into the channel.
How do you guys strap you ski to trailer and not mess up the turf on sides (Bondline)
I went with the pancake Pete and covered my ebox bolts. An extra 2 min to remove front foothold. I’m happy with how it came out.Any front footholds that fit an FS2? Would prefer to turf and bolt in if possible so it doesnt cover E box screws. Or is everyone just running a strap up front. Post up. Thanks
Can anyone explain the purpose of the batwing ride plate for an edge? I want to go with a longer plate vs what came on my ski and trying to grasp the advantage of going with the batwing model or just a regular extended plate.
