Wasn't going to make a build thread but I was scrolling through other build threads and @BruceSki commented that there aren't many true builds anymore, just AM hull assemblies. This ski will be for sale also. Would love to keep it but I'm just consolidating parts and hulls to free up some space and pay debt.
Anyways I'll have to check what year it is but I think it's a 2001. I chopped 4" off the back and reused the hull end sections and glassed from inside the hull to reinforce the sections to the hull then did the same on the outside. Doing this I was able to reuse the rideplate inserts using the SN bolt pattern. I've never been a fan of the angle cut method in the rear. Shorter skis gain handling benefits from the tray overhang. I also rockered the nose and made sure to blend everything very smooth rather than have a big overlap with possible air gaps between hull and nosepiece. This ski will be reinforced and include big custom footholds and wide tray mod with plenty of underpadding and big kick tail, carbon fiber CarterB front foothold, Tubbie 2s, a lowered WDK hood and lowered nosepiece with stainless ratchet strap, billet hood hooks, Blowsion lowered pole bracket, Xmetal aluminum pole with new carbon chinpad, ATP billet steering and 50mm RRP riser bars, 62t 701, Factory B pipe, Skat prop 10/18, scupper tube with versiplug max, etc. I'm getting close to completing the hull mods currently and it's looking like it'll be a killer setup!
