Custom/Hybrid Rok Talk

I use the ATP waterbox in my Rok. Fits great. Just stuck a piece of turfed 25mm padding under it. No complaints, and it does sound NASTY! I'm using the Wamiltons fuel tank thanks to Skinnyman Freeride, it's a 3 gallon and it fits perfect. Like it was made for this hull.
I need to bend my ebox brackets, already cracked the gel coat, haha. No worries though this hull is already getting a beating. It had cracked gel coat when I got it, the bottom deck was spider cracked around the nose. Didn't see it for a while. Not like it would matter, haven't talked to Jeff since it shipped.

have you noticed when you torque down any bolts, eg mid shaft housing, motor mounts etc, there is a very uncomfortable cracking sound as you are getting them torqued?

those were not cracks bro. Feel them, they are mold transfered. All of them have them in exact same place. Lazy f-er wont fix the mold, but they are not structural. Not defending jeff , just saying, the glass hulls dont come cracked or week from my experience.

Just need a little sanding and the "SPIDER CRACKS" go away.

too long of bolts maybe? They do not use OEM SJ hardware everywhere (niether do any other hulls I know of). You have to GA. how deep they are and use or cut to the propper length bolt when assembling an aftermarket hull.
It would be nice to use backed inserts , but unfortunately the only one I know using them is the Q8 (the professional) LOL.

Just sayin.

the shim less system didnt work out for me either, motor will need shimming

i also had to open up one of the holes on my pump, three out of four lined up, pump doesnt need shims at all

im still amazed at how thin the hull is, freaks me out i can see sunlight or a flashlight through it... lol
