I'm currently in talks with Jeff about getting a Rok hull next year, I'm just wondering other then modifying the intake grate are there any other special things that have had to be done when swapping in SuperJet parts, Does the stock SJ tank work?

Also has anybody had there hull shortened or any other custom modifications?

Feel free to post your Roks!

Thanks!

The only thing l had to do that was get a custom gas tank.l don't think a sj tank will fit.Deciding on the right waterbox is important.l had an older xmetal,a stock rn sj box,and then ended up with a new xm box.Because of the placement of the handlepole so far forward, that causes the w/b size to be important.Steve-uk atp's would work and he is closer to you.l'm running a full length tube rrp pole (back issues). So all of my cables are from a sn sj.l would suggest to do the same.l think MDstandup had the same problem.

The only other thing l can remember is bending the brackets (inward) that attach the ebox to the hull.Since the dash is curved so much,it points them outward.Otherwise you will crack the gelcoat.

And l have some templates of the mats for the rails, sides, and bottom that l can make some copies of and send to you.(thanks chad, paying it forward!)

seems like a pretty good review to me.
you either need a smaller water box to rn cables or run sn cables that are about 8'' longer with stock water box to be fine (this is all with a pretty short pole too).
stock tank wont fit either.
everything else is bolts on that hasnt been mentioned

I'm surprised to hear about the cables, I thought the Rok is 8" shorter then a SJ, Would I have to worry about my trim cable as well then?
I thought I read somewhere somebody took some heat to a stock tank to get it to fit would that work or is it just a horrible idea, I really dont like the idea of running a small tank!

im running the longer tubes on the atp billet pole and a sn cable is more than enough i actually think the rn throttle cable would be ok, also have to think about if you have stock carbs or am and the cable connection could be opposite to stock on most am

i have excess of steering cable in my engine compartment

550 tank works, yes you have to add a little heat to the corner near the chamber, a kart tank fits perfect

hey sano
you have an extra copy of those turf templates?

Be glad to make you a copy.lt will be a few days.Pm me your address. And l think l have a tube to ship them.

Question on post #4 and #5.Post #4,l must be a little slow, what are you saying(sorry about that!). Post #5,my ride plate looked like someone ground it out to make it fit.

Would it be possible to swap all SJ parts in to a Rok in a day and get it ready to rip in a day, not counting turf, and assuming you already have the grate, tank ect. on hand?

Heh. I don't know about the ROK specifically, but for aftermarket hulls in general: don't count on it.

I had no prob with the stock waterbox at all, pole is all the way forward and waterbox is like a hot dog down a hallway. Atp fit much worse than stock for me.
But the ATP sure sounds nasty.
I used plexas on ebox mounts no issues.

Ride plate must be ground to make it fit. Pump shoe requires some work as well, of course intake extension. and longer steering and throttlke cables as well.

Nasty good or nasty nasty? lol
Isnt the ATP smaller?
Xmetal better fit then ATP & Stock?

I thought Jeff installed the pump shoe?

this isnt the best pic, cos this was with the front exhaust outlet the previous ownder had put in, but even without the rubber the waterbox fits great, fits better with some rubber or turf under it (which is the correct way to instal)
