Roo, are you certain that you don't have a vibration under the hood that just transmits through the ski and feels like the driveline? It would make sense that it only did it under load.

I did use regular silicone to smooth over the joint between the pump shoe and pump.

99.9% sure it is coming from the firewall/bulkhead and back.

most noticeable when on a AC Racing beach stand in the water - you can really hear it towards the rear of the ski.

ever sucked up a rock in your pump and listened to it play ping pong? that is the best analogy i can give, but minus the rock :) heh

i have a new midshaft/housing and motor mounts i will be installing when everything goes back together... fingers crossed.

silicone... basic RTV?

my motor and midshaft line up perfectly btw - slides together with no effort.

hmmmm that statement is contradicting...

exhaust side?

In my freak I get around 500ml of water in one day riding (only from the exhaust side)<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />

Wednesday I went out, and for the first time since I owned the Superfreak, the water was GLASS. Not a boat or ripple, period.

Two observations:

-I LOVE the way the ski handles during high speed turns - the unique design Tem did at the rear of the ski at the bond line really makes a HUGE effect in handling (where it fattens / flairs out). If your turning left, put ALL your weight on your left foot and pin it. Same goes for the right.

-I need a different prop or bigger pump (or both) - I was spinning the prop EVERYWHERE. Currently running a 145MM Setback w/ 13/19 prop.

Quit playin on those ponds and bring that ski out on the lake next summer. You know where to find me. Nice ski buddy.

haha i know right?

problem is distance... need a bigger gas tank for st. clair.

2 gallon + 1000cc = not going far.

right now my xs1000 is getting rebuilt.

i dropped in a 701 61x into the superfreak hull and man it still rips like crazy!

working on getting the bottom end dialed in a little better.

hope to have a second 'freak built for next year as backup / st. clair riding.

we'll be prepared for next season. i don't want to be "that guy" getting towed back because i ran out of fuel! heh

this will be season #2 of NOT hitting st. clair - not good!

i want to be able to cruise all over and experience st. clair to fullest like back in 2006 when i was out there all the time with you guys.
