Pulled the pump and pole a few nights back. And have spent some time the past couple nights sanding off the many coats of multi colored paint. This is like serious weight loss just in paint removal. yellow, blue, black, green, diamond plate paint all on top of stock paint. Oh and some purple too. Ran out of sanding discs tonight and need to go shopping for more tomorrow. If work allows lol!

Bottom deck and rails are sanded.

Picked up some #0 sponsons from Flapjack and have decided to change back over to rear ex... It will be a lot tidier and quieter once done, just makes more work for me. Water box is going to the welder to get the outlet relocated.

Had my UMI pole cut and re-welded straight a couple days ago. Should be a peach! Will fit the hood nicely now. Overall length from end to end is 38" which I think is shortened 4" to 5" ish. I loved the length last year, but I totally choked on the cuts and angles. So it had a bit of a hump and basically looked like chit. Between the bracket, xmetal steering and shortened pole my overall should be -8 ish. Same as last year, but will look a LOT better. And more gentile on the junk when doing hood tricks.

Finally finished the rough sanding tonight. 8 different colors! Holy crap the sanding was hell. Went through sooooooo many sanding discs.

Then got a wild hair to cut off another 1.5" off the bottom deck.

Hopefully get in a US Composites order early this weak, so I can get going on fixing the front ex hole, putting the back of the hull together AGAIN, installing sponsons, start work on the tray blablabla...

Going to get some RRP holds in.

I really like doing the work, but riding season isn't too far off. I need to pull up my skirt and keep the ball rolling! And get some people to pay up for some work, so I can keep ordering goods!

Updates... I'm done with the snow and am ready for sun and warm water lol!

I've done some work on the shortening, filled the front ex hole and a few other little things. Here's some random pics of things that have been done. I should finish the shortening today and start on the sponsons.

Yah me too on the tray. Got the sponsons on tonight and will pull clamps in a couple says. Then some 5200 on the seams. I'm getting off my arse and ordering glass and foam from USC tomorrow, so I can get going on the tray. And some holds from TC.

Watching you guys ride got me to not worry so much about the cold water. I need to sack up and quit being a va j j.

Got a little more done, til I ran out of gas lol! Sponsons are more or less finished. Cut some of the front bond line off in hopes I will commit in pulling up my skirt and trying a flip or two this summer. Waiting on US Composites materials to finish off the nose. I have some 17oz biax thanks to Orangefinger. So I have been able to get some other glassing done, while I wait. Pics...

And a couple more. The one of the inside of the nose, is a before pic. I'll put a couple layers of 17oz biax over the bond line and from the outside I may put a layer, or two of 8.5oz s glass over that. After foam fill and shape. That's all for now.

edit. I still hate it when pics post out of order in which you chose them from your library. I just don't want to post pics on a host site... I'm such a slacker.
