Slowly now. Work is kinda nutty and I have been beat when I get home. I'll get some done this weekend though. Just need to finish sanding the tray and nose. Should be ready for paint by Monday.

Some updates.
Hull, hood and nosepiece are painted. Waterbox is in. Pole bracket on. Maniac strap back on. New hose in polebracket (home depot freebie lol) Pole got some paint on it. Front towloop in.
Waiting on parts... But the ball is rolling nicely. Getting some love from Orangefinger, Jetmaniac, and Hardcore. If things go right it will be getting wet in a couple weeks!! Wooo!
I'll get some updated pics up in the next couple days.

Well the motor is shimmed and in. (Thanks Orangefinger for helping me out with the motor work and parts) Pipe in. I friggin choked HUGE on my waterbox. Tried to cut a corner and have it welded back together for rear ex and didn't check out all the angles. So it's effed and is getting pulled and benched til I get ambitious again. I might go xmetal box, not sure. Or just stock rn box. I dunno.
Here's some updated pics. Still in semi mock up, but with a few stickers for up side down motivation.
Not too much left... Waiting on a few parts to finish trim, turf (need to order a friggin waterbox) and a few other small things. Should get it wet in just over a week if things go right.

Some more updates in no particular order.
Padding and turf is done. Feels nice......
Chinpad is done.
Footholds are in and half ass adjusted for the test ride.
Xmetal water box will be here Tuesday, to finish off the ex.
Installed the Xmetal trim today.
Fired it up today (temp ex), to ease my mind of any possible issues later. Got wood..
Ride plate and intake grate are on.
So what's left is getting the water box and tank in. Then getting all the cables and looms tidied up and zip tied off. Waiting on a new bilge switch too, but that will only take a minute to install.
For the most part it's just details that take time, but are not that big of a deal.
I'll be getting it wet real soon! The first chance i get time and the weather is descent after Tuesday.
Can't friggin wait. So many hours in this thing, holy crap words cannot say. I hit the point (many times) where I really had to force myself to stay dedicated to finishing.
This is a bit early, but I have to thank some people.
The X in general. Holy crap this place is the best. HUGE thanks everybody!
My amazing wife, for putting up with the build in general. You guys are hip I know.
My kids for helping whenever they were around to help out. Extra hands are very helpful.

Huge thanks to everybody that either gave me words of wisdom and or motivation. I LOVE this thing. So much more fun to ride. Kind of learning all over again to some extent, but holy donkey dung it's a good time. I've only had time to ride twice, but it's sooo fun.

yup my ski rips! i can do some stuff so easy and other tricks i kinda pass at now. it is not much of a hood rider as i found out again last night hood racing my buddy. i will fix that this winter. i pretty much had the ski ride over me when i got tossed at high speed, lol.
