Freestyle Running Powerfactor chamber wet

Next year Id like to experiment with running the powerfactor chamber wet as I have heard it really improves the bottom end response. I already read the entire thread about this issue, but got mixed results, answers and then it turned into a debate and got off topic (lets keep this on topic). Eventually, I will add pics/descriptions from my experiences to help those in the future.

Things I understand from my research...
  • Jetting, Prop and nozzle must be matched/tuned specific to my setup before any true results can be felt
  • Will need to drill/tap my powerfactor manifold to install a spray bar
  • some fittings on chamber are plugged basically eliminating the water jacket (some cut the jacket out completely - too much work for me)
What I would really like to get specific is
  • what filters are used before the jet to keep it clean
  • good starting points for the jet
  • clear water routing diagram
  • how the waterbox is cooled
Lastly, it would be cool to get everyone who responds to provide us with their hull, motor, pump combo

For me it will be a Carbon DVX hull with PHP 898 (pump gas) and skat setback 148

Thanks!

Lotta interest in this. A lot of this info was covered in detail in my thread till the smucks trolled it all up. Why not unlock it and delete all their bs from it.

Right now I'm running my PF wet in my Trixstar with ET 1107, total loss, race gas, 155 pump. It pulls extremely hard through the entire RPM range. I don't have any filters in my current set up but I have run the filter that comes with the PF pipe previously. I run one cooling line to the spray bar, tee off that line and run another line to inject water at the stinger to keep the water box cool. I'm running an 80 pilot jet in the spray bar and left the jet in the stinger that the PF comes with (110 I think?)

I have a Dasa 1200 in my other Trixstar with 148 Skat pump, right now I'm running it dry, but I plan on swapping it to wet to see the difference, I should have time this coming week to test it out.

are you using the cooling jacket to on the chamber? or cap it off?

I have mine setup as per Zack's settings and it's mint! Plus a few Lil tricks but I'm sure you will find those out from Z too. My setup is Carbon Hurricane PHP 898 with total loss, Novi 48s and 148 mag. Hits like a beast all the way up even with 148-that will be changed to 155 this winter. Sorry I couldn't make it to the ride last weekend for you to try. Was stuck working:(

My best results were an 80 jet (tried smaller, but 80 hits hardest). TPE964/144/TL. Hull, that's a whole different story.

Winter plans, pull inner chamber, and reweld...

Where did you read mixed results?

How much of a difference are we really talking about here? Sounds like a lot of trouble. Enough to require jetting or prop change?

Easiest and most 'return' upgrade, I've done. $35 dollar injector/1 hour (in ski) time. If your prop is tuned now, then it will prolly slip, after this upgrade. It's that good.
