So it's been 4 years and I just reread it to see how I should set one up and guess what? We never answered original question other than one post that said size 80 jet.

1. What size jet on spray bar?
2. Best water routing to spray bar(t off upper water intake?)
3. Is tapping and sending water to waterbox or pre waterbox necessary?
4. Best water filter to stop sand?

I think we are way past anyone's setup being a secret anymore so let's see some info.

Mine was setup with a 110 jet in spray bar fed off of water distribution manifold, another line off of manifold to RRP water box with Jet Works FCV. Setup was soft and slow revving. Cut water to the water box, still sucked. Switched setup to dry with 80 jet in stinger and no water to water box, straight rips now. Still adjusting FCV to stinger but setup revs quickly and delivers linear power. Using PF sand filter. Now, water to the exhaust when wet was straight from pump so it may act differently running hot water from cylinder, hope this helps and your setup works for you. Engine is 10 mil DASA 900 with 50mm carbs and MSD T/L if that matters to ya. Have fun

There is a guy making the old FPP filters that clean themselves. I would find one of those if you are riding surf/sandy areas. The mcmastercar filters work great are cheap and you can change out the mesh screens with different sizes.

My opinion, which is worth a sack of feathers, if you want a wet pipe buy a wet pipe. I have a WDK wet pipe that is awesome and personal favorite, you also have TNT and RRP to chose from.

True, but I got a good deal on a powerfactor and after one leaking that I ran dry and causing my motor to blow a few years ago, I decided this one will go wet.

Here is what I have so far as I understand it:

1. What size jet on spray bar? Anywhere from 40-110 depending on when I want the power to hit. The larger the jet, the sooner the hit.
2. Best water routing to spray bar(t off upper water intake?) Yes.
3. Is tapping and sending water to waterbox or pre waterbox necessary? No.
4. Best water filter to stop sand? Big round strainer from jetmaniac with a 125 jet on the exit to a clear fuel line filter also from jetmaniac to the spray bar.

Any objections?

Did you get to try this yet and did it give you a boner?
