Two layers or Kevlar and a layer of carbon down and curing as we speak. After this I'll hog all the foam out and do most of the layup on the inside and hopefully vacuum bag it.

Couple more pics with the hull flipped over to show the profile of the nose.
After the kevlar on the top cures I'll be cutting the two decks back apart to finish reinforcing the bottom deck.

Any ideas on what to do with the bond rails? Thinking may just trim them back and blend them in or possible rebuild it up and around the nose or at least part way.

I didn't like the transition between the flat rails and the added rocker to the front of the nose and after a few failed attempt's to figure something simple out I started cutting.

I'm going forward with the rail mod. I wanted more rocker in the rail too so I took this opportunity to add that in as well. One side is pretty much done. It was a long day in the shop and I figured it would be best to start shaping the second side in the morning.

Got the reinforcements laid for the inside of the nose job and finished off the bond rail mods. Hopefully start fitting the top deck up tomorrow and start building my inserts for the engine bay.

Dug all the foam out from under the rails and gave them a quick trim. Put the tubbies back on to get an idea how it's all going to look. Top deck needs some work to get it to lay flat but nothing is too far off.

Mocked up the engine bay for time and located all the points for the inserts. Pipe has some clearance issues, it's fits but is very tight. Inserts are in and ready for carbon to be laid over them. I took Sanoman's advice and used West System's G-flex 655 to adhere the inserts to the hull. Also the the pole mount area shaped up and shaved the gas cap filler out. Pole bracket can be mounted any where from stock location to +2.5" forward. I will prolly come up with some sort of nose piece for it eventually but that is not priority at this point.

Got the bilge prepped and carbon laid over the engine mount blocks and other inserts.
Need to run my plumbing and exhaust and the bottom deck is nearing completion.

I've been bust'n ass as much as possible. I'm right in the middle of buying a foreclosed duplex so that is sucking up a lot of time too.
Ski should move faster now that its warm out and I can work on more than one thing at a time.
