Up in Michigan I pretty much have a full setup...

standup, ski boat, fishin' boat........and a rowboat with a 9.9 on itlol..

I spent the first 33 years accumulating, now I have no place to store all this crap :bad3:

Im bringin' the blue lund back with me for some river fishin'.....

the Nacra's dont belong to me but I have full access.....those things scare the HELL out of me...they are 25-30 knot boats on moderately windy days.....

i yanked the engine, ALL electrical spoogeddy, pump, intermediate and cleaned the bilge today.

also reinstalled the pump, w/ a concord impeller, installed a new intermediate housing/seals/bearings. ready to drop the 62t 701 in.

i could put a stock head on it, or my extra riva girdled 701 head w/ 180 psi domes, since it also has the mounts for the stock pipe.

then theres the whole stock pipe thing.... hmmmmm

i think a fpp raider mod pipe would fit. a protec would fit too. also a red pipe and some dry pipes, im sure.

i can relocate the waterbox to under the seating area. theres LOTS of room there, even with both batteries and tanks. the waterbox that these came with are pretty gay. its a fiberglass conglomeration with WAY too many seams for my comfort.

im thinking of putting a raider waterbox under the seat to save sapce and to quiet it down a bit.

check it for wet foam before you go too far with it.this model is notorious for waterlogging.it should weigh 750lbs dry(not sure if that includes batterys)

im not busting balls here.i looked into these models a few years ago when i noticed a few in the paper and on ebay dirt cheap.

but, its a jet boat. what would the neighbors have thought??:cool2:

:haha:

im guessing that it is probably waterlogged. i can see how it could easily get that way. but i figure it doesnt really matter much anyway. it doesnt need to be "lightweight" like a ski. how many more lbs could a waterlogged boat be? even if its 100 lbs, i dont think it would make it unusable... especially since i didnt own it when it wasnt waterlogged so it would always be the same to me..... besides... im not about to do a refoam on it :scared:

.... sponsons and footholds, however.....
