Niiiiiice! Hope some of my trick tips helped ya too. I'm not sure what battery set up your going to use but with cold fusions battery cage and a jetworks battery, you can pull the tank with out even touching the battery (some may not condone removing a gas tank with out in hooking the battery but.... I do lol)

Dude, you have convinced me to ditch my FP waterbox.... It fits like :):):):), there's no way I could run my intake hoses like that, and your setup is PERFECT!

Ya man thanks again for the help. The XS waterbox is PERFECT for the FS2! It really could not fit better. The inlet / outlet are also spaced to the max width of the hull (without rubbing anything), so all exhaust parts (chamber and long hose) are as close to the hull sides as possible giving you max room in the motor bay. And the chamber will not rub on the bedplate, and best of all the installation is simple where the straps are even perfect length. Its super SANO....just hope its quiet enough.

Another thing making the motor fitment great was the cold fusion rickter midshaft and couplers. Motor sits in the best possible spot (with the BPIPE limited), giving you good access to the EBOX, unlike the included RRP spacers. With the limited chamber the motor position is great and plenty of room with the headpipe and hood seal area. Really hit a homerun with that setup. All the cold fusion stuff should really be considered required parts for a Rickter build.

I will be running a full sized AGM battery in the Cold Fusion battery cage.

do your trick tips include corroded, unattached butt connectors on your start stop?? lol :)

Oh yeah forgot to mention that. Shawn be sure to do a shotty job lengthening the SS switch like my self. Instead of soldering everything just use ghetto "cool seal" connectors and then your ski can have the "questional start mod" you will love it :) lol

Strangely enough my SS wires look like they will reach without lengthening, even with POLE all the way UP/DOWN and steer @ full turn. I will know for sure Sat when I finish the assembley.

Looking good Shawn. That new XMetal box looks like a nice fit. I didn't have to lengthen my SS wires but also cut 3" off my pole.

rrp.jpgGot a bunch of stuff done today.

*Installed OCD Solutions bilge pump, surf switch, and sano wire kit. (Will never install a bilge any other way, worth 5x what he charged!) Flawless setup.
*Installed Epic CDI preprogrammed by XS for 865. EBOX buttoned up.
*Installed Cold Fusion EBOX mount.
*Removed TRIM system per Andrew/Wydopen's recommendation, I do have slightly better throw with stock nozzle.
*Installed Jetmanic 86mm bored venturi.
*Removed RRP hood seal. Preped for Watcon hood seal.
*Installed WORX 205 intake grate.
*Started the Water and fuel lines. Will finish that tom and install gas tank.

Maybe 3-4more hours of work @ my slow ass pace. Have to order new hardware for RRP ride plate, the supplied bolts are not long enough. Also seems that the SS switch wiring will not be long enough. Might have to come up with something.

someone should be making a sano jumper with oem connectors to enhance the length of that..... x2 on the trim unless you ride the flat also, we ended up pulling the busted and bent trim parts off cuongs at pismo in the parking lot so he could ride another day..

Alex got the trim as dialed in as good as it could get and it was good..... going to the stocker its only a VERY small difference of a few degrees. The main reason I did not want to keep it was risking damaging the $200+ blowsion steering cable.

If you run a thrust trim system you will never have to worry about breaking cables

The wammer and thrust EZpull systems are VERY close. Infact every componant (besides the nozzle) on mine was brand new thrust parts. Agreed I am probably worrying about nothing, but when you grabbed the trim and turned the bars with the trim engaged...it did seem to put added stress on the steering cable. Probably not a big deal, but I just want this boat to be 1000% reliable. Added complexity that blowsion cable is a standard thread. I just voted to shelf it on the side of caution, might revisit later.

Boyer, this looks like a job you should be doing! (hint hint)

Times 2!!!

All you have to do is ask. Me and Jetmaniac talked about this months back as a way to use up all the old harnesses he has taking up space now. we just never heard of anyone wanting one. Our idea was to make an extended harness so all the shorter start/stops from couches would plug right in for superjets without any mods.

How long would they need to be to work on the Rickters?

I guess it could depend alot where you have your tube length setup @. I'll try to get a measurement on mine later today. Would be nice to eliminate the cheesy yamaha connectors for the start stop and throw in something alot more waterproof. IMO those connectors even packed with dieelectric are still the most vulnerable point of any new electric system.

I agree, I would rather make up a brand new harness with Jap style connectors that extends out from the ebox whatever length is required. It would come with all the connections needed to fit to your start/stop switch, just cut off the oem connectors and crimp on the new ones.

It would be plug and play for those who already have JSS start/stops.

Get me that measurement and I will make it up and ship it out to you, free of charge. I have always offered the first of a new product free to the person who helps get it built.
