This ski has FAR surpassed my expectations. Its really an amazing boat.

Had a real nice flat water ride at my house and hit some creeks with it. One thing that shocked me, now that I got to really spend hours on it. I cannot believe how well the FS2 handles at high speed! I really thought with the short hull it would porpous and ride sketchy, but this thing handles better at speed then my RN does! The 865 with 14/19 prop is down right scary at even 80% throttle....its F____in FAST! Getting the feeling of the ski down alot more and felt good on it today. Started playing with the bindings at bit too. The FS2 isnt really a "lightweight" hull compaired to some of the other hulls, but the rickter does carry its weight very well. It feels much lighter then a stock RN when picking it up and handles soooooo nicely.

Also if you have a RRP pole make sure you install the rubber lower pad! I was lazy and didnt. Then after slamming my knee real nice on a bail, that pad got installed right away!

Water on the river by my house is close to 80F! So tomorrow AM doing it all over again! Will try to get my GF to snap a few pics tom.

Perfect!, time to wring that thing out with some "old fokkers" riding some outdated,sketchy,FX-1's. Surf tank in the AM, then a tank for the HIGH TIDE creek ride in the afternoon.....(chuckle).

Ya right, in the creeks you'll beat the crap outta me! Didnt want to bother with the parkway this weekend with the epic weather, so next weekend I'll be down there Sat for sure, maybe Sat & Sun.

Rode this AM, and going back out again for a sunset ride in a few mins. The footholds are taking alot of getting used to (never had a ski with holds), but overall I cannot get enough of this ski! It actually makes flat water FUN AS HELL! I'm freaking addicted bad now!

lnteresting that you comment on the footholds. The rok is the first ski that l have rode a lot with them and find that at first you really don't want to commit to them totally. My stunt hole had them, but l did not spend a whole lot of time on that ski.The Rok hulls actually have an enclosed foothold with total commitment.l had an acl repair on my left knee and thought at first the holds were a little too much.Hornedogg had the same surgery and thought the same thing.l ended up changing them to what you usually see on most skis. But as l ride more l find myself cramming my feet in a little more each session. And you are right, they do take some getting used too.l ride goofy and find myself turning my left foot in sideways to get a good wide stance. At some point l would guess that it comes second nature.

l would love to ride your ski,l'm sure it is a handful. And again you did a great build man!

Great to hear you got that thing dialed in!! I want to see a Rickter on a creek ride, that would be killer!

Its a work in progress, but I have been making alot of progress.

I actually had a killer weekend up here riding by myself....LOL! I'm still in the new ski bliss stage so as long as I am riding, I could careless where. Going to get a hotel down there Sat June 4th night so I can rip with you guys all next weekend.

Thanks again for the good words on the build man! Ya I'm used to a nice foot channel that I can have my feet anywhere. (pics below) Its not so much the hold thats the problem, its me staying in them. Actually kicking in and staying locked in.... is taking alot of practice. My cheesy sneakers were not helping, so I ordered some good wake shoes. I think I just need to adjust them better and have real riding shoes. There is no way in hell I am doing any glass surgey on the hull, so I have to learn to get used to them. LOL!

l bought some wakeskate shoes cause my old wrestling shoes were killing my feet.So the arch support is great with them on.l think you will like them.l can diff kick and get locked in to the holds.Just commitment......

The 735 is a drinker too.Lakeside is not bad but surf will be another question. You guys usually run surf l guess?

Oh...one thing I forgot. HOLY CRAP does the 865 EAT GAS!!!! I am ripping though full tanks like crazy.

you want to try the Dasa 1100 that is one thirsty foocker but its worth every liter

on the shoes i went for basket ball boots as they have lots of ankle support and cushioning for you arches and heels , my knees feel so much better since i started wearing them

I'm about 40% / 60%, surf to flat ratio. I live 2 blocks from the ocean, but I also have a real nice saltwater river in my backyard. So lazyness takes over and I just ride the river alot. My stock tank is normally pretty low now after 45mins of riding. I have to start bringing a watch out with me to time the rides so I dont run outta gas.

After watching Josh's videos I cant imagine how the 1100 pulls! Incredible brap. Makes me want to put a powerfactor pipe on the 865 and run race gas..LOL!
