Turfing down the big slope on the gunwales and then downward in that area to the tray is tricky without relief cuts. You had no problem there apparently.

Rode 5 gallons FW today, it kicked my azz...the XS900R has a fantastic broad power band that keeps pulling ! Even on a limited bpipe chamber, XS 46's and enhancer it's a handful in a carbon hull no doubt. Very first try on a 180 hop flip and it nosed in with my limited FW skills. Chucky was spot on with jetting for us both. Thanks to Rick at XS for the great timely service. sj762 made the FFH and FH's spongy soft and they keep you locked in perfect thanks to him again...Stoked !

Here's the setup look including a swim noodle stash.
Notice I'm a believer in the stock air line water trap to the tank, I've gotten water in before past the check valve and into the tank with just a hose only set up.

Sorry about all those speed holes. As you guessed correctly, most of those came from having to mount the ebox twice.

That's sj762 turf work, I stripped it and then helped him turf it but he deserves the credit.

Rode the XS900R in head high surf yesterday at coquina beach all I need to say is hold on and don't even think about pulling trim unless you enjoy a good beating !

I am glad to hear the 900 still rips with Bpipe and Charging system! (not all of us can afford a big engine, and all the other new stuff that comes with it). Let's see some video!
