Here is another friendly story.

I'm in Atlanta right now spending time with my girlfriend's family. Weeks before the trip i ASKED the question "should i bring my ski?" Not only did i get a response but these guys who i never got to meet at the Daytona Freeride said to not only bring it but they were going to get other guys to come out and ride on one of the coldest days in GA. Never have i felt so welcome from a group that has the same passion as me.

p.s. i still cant wait to meet all these people. Long live the Freeride.

Rock on Felix! I agree!
I met a great LKN crew through the x.
Kurt (who is awesome) helped me fix my 750 and later sold me a sweet SN!!
Now I have good people to ride with down at LKN!:woot:

The Surf and Turf in June will be great :cool2:

Its all about the ride!! :Banane01:

I try to stay out of the way here, but just a couple of thoughts. MAYBE people who post stupid questions are the ones you want to help most? Are you really growing the sport only by supporting those who are " full on" in it already?

I have no plans to ever be a freerider, yet I have introduced people to stand-ups who have become freeriders and bought several ski's.....point being you never know who might help the sport to grow...

Last word, I think the reason some people feel snobbed is because there are some people who will surf all day, but only answer questions posted by " seasoned" riders...

Don't pm me asking for names, I am not here to call anyone out or create problems, just trying to clairify another point of view.

Thanks all...you have been great to me!
