I was looking at my fugly wr500 and my SN
and wondered if the top of the wr on the SN would make a workable conversion...
it would take some serious fiberglass layup
I would want it to be a quick change so the wr would be sacrificed,
probably try to find an old square hood to donate
Now that would be a cheap conversion ski!

Whoever says its easier hasnt ridden one. It may be a little easier but in my mind its an upgrade from a pole set up. And whoever said buy an x2 I hope wasnt serious...

I cant wait to eventually convert mine!

What kind of hull is that? Looks like a Square Nose Pole and a Kawie 650 SX hood. Wedoo were you high of some fumes again?

I love my X2's but they need more power. I used to have a stand up but it was a wimpy 650 SX so an SJ comversion is right up my alley. You have a stand up but can switch to an X2 style ski any time you wish. To switch back you just give her the pole!

Your correct I haven't ridden one but I have ridden many other ski's with fixed poles (blaster ,X2 and many couches ) All much easier to ride than a pole ski .
I'm not putting it down by any means .Just an opinion .

I wish my ski was a bit easier to ride

To each his own, live and let live, one mans junk is another mans treasure, any of those ring a bell? If that contraption gets just one person to convert to a stand up it will all be worth it.Support the sport in any way you can is what I say and Saki I wouldn't use poly resin to fix a fiberglass planter much less a watercraft.
