I'd love a lighter boat. I might build an fx1 next for that reason.

Mine weighs 265ish with a 140 setback mag, full size jetworks battery and a half tank of fuel(small tank). That's also with a billet cylinder that may weigh a bit more than stock. I'll weigh it with no fuel next time I have a chance. It's an XFT surf hull.

Mine was 290 with same battery and same amount of fuel on same scale 5 minutes later (WCF hull/hood, billet ADA cylinder, 140 Mag pump, same Jetworks battery, XMetal pole).

added weight on the black boat comes from Tubbies / much heavier battery & stock water box. There was about 1/4 tank in ea. boat and it was accounted for @ 8#'s per gal.
The new boat has x-metal water box & no tubbies & much lighter battery. It does have the TBM cone though.

there's more weight to be lost with that setup as well!

i dont like the front exhaust only though..been there, done that and HATED it

That is true? :reporter:

Hopefully the surf boat will be 250-255lb.

And yes, my front only exhaust sucks! The more I ride it the more I am starting to hate it. :ugh2:

I am thinking OEM Box out the side only on the next build.... I like the cleanliness of getting rid of the rubber hose that shoots out too the back.
