:crying: I hate sanding. I am so sick of it.

I love that pearl. I am using something similar on Orange. (And pink soon on another ski)

Is it normal to have to wetsand the clearcoat to get a good finish? Or is it just indicating that I suck at painting?

If you want it to look like glass wet sanding is a must. Its easier to get a smooth finish on a curved surface, flat areas are harder to paint. We always wet sand and buff no matter what, makes if look like we know what we are doing :sneaky:

What grit do you start this at, and where do you finish? (Prior to buffing)

wet sanding and buffing is done ....

most of the rails turfed, the tray looks like its going to be a challenge .

could have had it done soon if someone ordered diamond turf , instead of grooved:smashfreakB:.

Looking sharp!!!! I am really liking the nose of that hull. That shot with Luke in it is a good angle that puts the lines into perspective.
