So, more stupid stuff to hinder progress. The threaded pieces that the side handles on the steering column bolt into... one of them had a broken bolt in it. Tried to drill it and use an extractor and the extractor snapped off in the hole... its eff'd. Gotta order more aluminum from McMaster.
The valspar outdoor plastic furniture paint I used on the seat is garbage. Every time I touched it it flaked off. So today the wife and I sanded the whole seat base with scotch brite pads and washed then solvent wiped it. Appliance epoxy has been such amazing stuff I opted to use it on the seat. Pics of before and after shown below. Hopefully I'll cover the seat tomorrow.

We rode ours for the first time yesterday. What a hoot. I did feel a little weird riding a pink and white one though.
Your build is amazing. Looks so good.

I've seen SCs with and without the upper grab handles. I almost wonder if it was a year model specific option, because the SCs I've seen without them don't appear to have the opening for them to bolt up.

Thanks! Show me a pic of your cupholder.

Here is the best picture I have. It is just a foam yoga block that I channeled on the bottom to fit over the footwell divider, and then I used a 2 or 2-1/4 inch hole saw for the holes, and then just turfed it and glued it down. It works great!

Thing is a work of art Smoofers...if you ever lose your mind and decide to sell it please let me know!

Thank you! You never know if I'll lose my mind, everything is for sale for the right price. However, I won't accept offers until at least October when I have effectively ridden the heck out of it.
