Smoofers' Super Chicken Build (Mostly Complete)

I love my super couch but not as much as you do!!
This is turning out to be a such a clean ski. Thanks for taking the time to document the build.
I may have missed it but what impeller are you using?

It's a NuJet impeller out of a 750ss. Hopefully it works out. NuJet's application guide listed the same one for a limited setup on an SC.

and Thanks for the praise!

We bought my Mom a Super Chicken for this season. I can't wait to ride it. Never been on one before. It's all stock pink and white. Should be hilarious fun. I agree that yours is pretty amazing. Inspiring build for sure.

Modified the stock ebox bracket to fit the 750 ebox. Installed it and finished up installing the deutsch connectors on all of the wiring. Everything so for looks and fits great... until I realized that the 750 ebox sticks up too high and will not let the seat sit flat. Ugh.

So I've got more aluminum on order from McMaster to drop the ebox down an inch and move it away from the motor an inch. Moving on, I got the fuel lines all sorted out along with gluing in the left over stock rubber holders to keep everything tidy.

Steering wheel cover is scuffed and ready for paint. I'm thinking of using appliance epoxy for its durability and easy touch up. Any better recommendations??? Would love some input.

Nobody gave any input on paint, so I went with my gut and used appliance epoxy. Turns out you can't really screw it up! It self levels really well. Pic was taken just after I finished spraying and shut the garage. Better pics will come when it's cured.

Steering wheel cover paint dry, buttons installed and throttle cable hooked up and adjusted. Still waiting on the center cover wrapped in vinyl to match the seat.

Got the ebox relocation brackets made. Still have to deburr them and clean the up. Did a test fit and everything seems to bolt up nicely. More to come tomorrow...

Not a huge update, but a big deal to me. Seat hinges installed (can't believe it's almost finished). The plastic pads were sanded to remove the oxidized bits, then painted with appliance epoxy. Not show quality but enough to look good.

Not sure what you mean on the gasket... The fact that stud holes are on the gasket where there are no studs on the intake? You could be right, but that was my second set of reed gaskets and both had those extra holes - I don't know if you can get gaskets without them. As for reed stuffers, my motor didn't come with them and I didn't feel it necessary to procure any. My knowledge of Kawi motors is rather limited, I'm more versed with Yamaha and SeaDoo.

Thanks for the compliments!
