When you installed the new plug wires in the coil, what was the process for that?

Thanks,

Sean

The plug wires fit snugly into a bore in the coil, which has a spike at the base of the bore that stabs the copper core of the plug wire. The plug wires are epoxied into that bore. To replace, you just need to work the plug wire around to break or loosen the epoxy until you can get the old wire out. Once you've got the old wires out, test fit your new wires into the coil and then set them in place with epoxy.

Got it, I have only ever seen the 4-stroke kawasaki coils which use a different coil-wire connection. Thanks for letting me know.

smoofers, I'm thoroughly impressed with your build , your impeccable attention to detail, and your garage set up !! It rivals even my garage however I'm lacking a small h-frame & glass beader. The technical information you shared w/ the h2o members is spot on ( I only read about half ) , factually accurate (ie: mold release) for an example. The "spike" @ base could also be called a " lance" from a designers viewpoint.... just thought I would share that , since your technical acumen is so complete.

2 Thumbs up !! It has to be my favorite "superchicken" post of all time on all forums .

Well Done

I know other guys are building 750 swapped chickens with single 46 or dual 44s etc. But... My setup just freaking rips. I feel zero need to change anything.

Since you have been through this already and I have been screwed on the "running" motor I picked up of the FB superchicken page. What am I missing in this ebox to make it run once the motor comes back from JM?

Looks like verything is there except for the cap that has the start/stop leads and connectors.

Inline fuse is missing as well. I found a wiring diagram online. Hopefully everything works! I know nothing on the kawi ebox.
