Little bit more hood work tonight on the outside of the hood. Now that I'm this far on the hood I know how I would do it differently lol. O well I'm doing it the slow painful way on this hood. I would make one layer of glass on a flat surface and then cut it to shape of the holes I needed to fill and it would have saved a lot of time and supplies and maybe a little weight too.
Got a few part powdercoated. Very excited how hour they turned out!
Here is a few stance and pole length options.
with the Canadian dollar I think it's a good budget setup. all those aftermarket systems cost over 1500 cdn dollars once they get here. maybe even closer to 2000
Yes I plan to run at least a 4" or taller pole pad.With OVP steering this length looks decent. I would say install your OVP setup and mock up give or take a few inches from here. A shorter pole will help you control the front of the ski easier and give you some support to lean on. Also get a tall pole pad!

Got a pipe today! Pro tec Mach 1. Not the best pipe out there but I'm not dropping $1300 for a b pipe right now so this will do for the first year I'm thinking. At least now I won't have to chop up and heavily modify a 550 pipe now.
Finishing up the port work.
Got the ski upside down, hung from the roof to work on the inside of the nose. This is not a fun position to work in, the worst yet. Just lots of sanding today.
