Went to two autobody shops today looking for Plexus/similar to fix the haul plate! They never heard of it!
One person recommended Tiger hair and the other shop said that stuff was junk and couldnt really recommend putting anything over it. They said I would have to pull it up and totally re-apply it down! I am not about too do that!!

Mine isnt bad at all. It is barely coming up, not even enough to get a thick flat head screw driver under it! Its only in one corner aslo! Just loose enough so that when I push on it, water that got under squezzes out! I know it could get worse if I dont do anything now!

The second shop said JB weld is his best advice cause I may be able to get it thin enough to seap into the tiny crack!!

What is the true right stuff???????? I have heard of 10 different products that people say is right/will work? Now the autobody shop has made me even more stressed out about which too choose!

Please keep in mind that I am just going to put the product over the area that is seperated!
I guess a vote will make my mind up!

1.) Plexus
2.) Epoxy resin
3.) Chopped strand and resin
4.) SMC Repair Adhesive
5.) Glass
6.) milled fiber
7.) 4200 fast cure
8.) Tiger Hair
9.) JB Weld ( I know someone will maked a comment about this)
10.) West Systems epoxy resin

look man we have given you all the idea's you could ever need!! If you dont think its that bad off then leave the damned thing alone, if you think its bad DO A SEARCH FOR HOW TO FIBER GLASS!! glass the thing over and be done with it...screw that JB Weld BullS*** and get some quality stuff...this is one of those times where cheap does not come off on the good side...this is your motor being bolted to the hull(not haul) so do some quality work...and if you cant do it then take it to someone who can or sell it and get something that doesnt need to be worked on.

Well who are we to argue the pro-opinion?
Sack up, buy a couple of tubes of JB Weld and git'er done!

It seems that the only reason you ask for advice here is to positively rule out those paths of action suggested to you.

Look, there is no True Right Stuff...pretty much everything we've mentioned on here will work in yoru case...some stuff will prob last longer than others but in the long run it will mostly depends on yoru prep work and how well its applied.

Dont listen to those body shop guys cuz they dont know a damned thing about how any of that stuff applies to a watercraft and the stress that your particular part is going to go through.

Either glass the damned thing over or use the multiple kinds of epoxy's we've suggested, tell your girl to ******** off and stop bitching about the ski being in the garage and do it right.

The time you spent driving around to bodyshops, bitching on the internet, asking for and coming up with half-assed solutions - could have been spent ordering the right materials and doing it right.
